Do not drop the package suffix
“FLEX Turbo hammer drill” does not identify everything you will receive. FX1271T identifies the tool; FX1271T-1H, FX1271T-2B and FX1271T-Z identify different sales configurations. Stacked Lithium is a battery-family name, not a promise that every FX1271T includes that battery.
US product information and the 2022 catalog specify the following. Verify old stock, used equipment and seller-assembled bundles against a written itemized list.
Swipe or scroll horizontally to see all columns.
| Package | Batteries | Charger | Storage and accessories |
|---|---|---|---|
| FX1271T-1H | One 6Ah Stacked Lithium | One 280W | Case, side handle, bit holder, belt clip |
| FX1271T-2B, older catalog | One 2.5Ah plus one 5Ah | One 160W | Case, side handle, bit holder, belt clip |
| FX1271T-Z | None | None | Catalog lists side handle, bit holder, belt clip; do not assume a case |
The drill is FX1271T in all three rows. Changing to -1H does not add another hammer mode to the tool. The older -2B does not mean two 6Ah packs. “Two batteries” still requires capacities and model identification.
One large battery and two batteries solve different problems
The -1H suits a buyer specifically wanting a 6Ah Stacked Lithium pack and 280W charger, but contains only one pack. When it needs charging or cooling, battery rotation requires another. Include that cost for work needing a spare.
The -2B provides two different capacities for rotation or choosing a pack appropriate to the task and total weight. They do not become one 7.5Ah battery. Adding capacities does not prove longer runtime in every task than a 6Ah kit; condition, load and usage affect the result.
The technology name also does not establish how many holes your particular bit will drill. If a seller advertises multiples of performance, check the comparison battery, load and test conditions instead of multiplying your own expected working time by the claim.
Existing platform owners should price only what is missing
With sound, approved FLEX 24V batteries and charger already available, compare the -Z price with the complete kit and decide whether another pack, charger and case are useful. An unnecessary duplicate charger is not a saving merely because it has a retail price.
For a first purchase, total tool, suitable battery, locally compatible charger, required side handle, bits and protection. Tool-only can look inexpensive until completed. Check US charger input; a plug adapter does not correct incompatible voltage or frequency.
For example, -1H and a seller’s tool-plus-6Ah offer without charger or side handle are not equal packages. Add the missing items before comparing cost. Do not begin work requiring the handle without it to save money.
Check delivery before powering up
First establish safe approach. Do not approach, touch or remove a smoking, leaking or persistently abnormally hot battery to read its label. Keep away and seek local emergency guidance.
- Record the order’s full SKU and confirm FX1271T on the tool; a box sticker does not replace its label.
- Count packs and record each model and capacity. The separately sold 6Ah Stacked Lithium identifies as FX0331 / FX0331-1; verify actual supplied labels too.
- Record charger model and input, then check tool-to-pack and pack-to-charger compatibility separately. Wattage is not a model number.
- Check side handle, bit holder, belt clip and any promised case. Resolve missing equipment with the seller first.
- After safe approach is established, inspect externally. Damage, swelling or scorching also mean stopping use and charging.
Keep records that can settle a discrepancy
Retain the order, seller’s contents list and safely taken label photographs. Report the specific missing or different item rather than only calling the package the wrong grade. This guide helps select a package; actual electrical compatibility still needs exact-model checks rather than a kit name.
