Supply requirement is not pump output
An inlet supply of 8 L/min feeds a filtered pump; nominal and maximum output figures remain separate beside a 10 L/75 second inlet check.
Feed
At least 8 L/min; maximum 4 bar and 40°C inlet.
Ratings
1066 PSI nominal/1750 permissible; 270 L/h nominal maximum flow and 342 L/h pump maximum flow are output labels, not inlet supply requirements.
Fan
Release trigger before adjusting spray pattern.
A bucket timing check screens supply flow only; it does not certify inlet pressure or backflow protection.
Check the exact Black model and voltage
This guide is for Ousada Black 2200, not Ousada Plus or Ousada Black Ultra. The Brazil codes are FW006237 for 127 V and FW006238 for 220 V. Match the plate to the supply; these are separate variants, not a switchable dual-voltage product.
The matched Rev.05 manual lists 1500 W and distinguishes 1066 PSI nominal pressure from 1750 PSI permissible pressure. It also separates 270 L/h nominal maximum flow from 342 L/h pump maximum flow. Preserve those terms: 1750 PSI is not the model’s nominal continuous working pressure, and 342 L/h is not the minimum water you need to feed it.
The package has a 3 m high-pressure hose, 5 m cable and adjustable fan/concentrated lance. Listed net weight is 4.6 kg. A turbo nozzle is not established as included in this exact package. Do not transfer accessories or procedures from another 2200-name WAP machine.
Verify the supply before assembling under load
The manual requires at least 8 L/min inlet supply, with a maximum inlet pressure of 4 bar and maximum temperature 40°C. Its pump maximum 342 L/h equals 5.7 L/min, but that does not replace the higher 8 L/min supply requirement. These figures describe different sides and conditions of the system.
As a preliminary supply check, you can collect water from the intended unpressurized feed hose in a measured container. A 10 L container filled in 75 seconds corresponds to 8 L/min: 10 ÷75 ×60 =8. This is only a screening check, not proof that pressure, backflow protection or sustained supply is correct. Repeat with the actual hose route and avoid spills near electrical connections.
If the feed cannot meet the requirement, resolve the supply before running the motor. Do not remove the inlet filter or increase jet concentration to disguise starvation. Never supply hot water simply because the casing feels robust.
Assemble and remove air with the motor off
- Keep the switch OFF and plug disconnected. Check the gun safety lock, hose, cord and fittings before assembly. Stop for damaged pressure hose or electrical parts.
- Connect the pressure hose and the proper bayonet components using the matching instructions. Confirm the bayonet locks rather than separating when gently pulled. The exact fine-interface family matters.
- Prepare the supply hose and quick coupling. The manual’s sequence flushes the free hose end upward until water flows, then closes it after 10 seconds before connection. Keep that discharge controlled and away from electricity.
- Connect the inlet and reopen the tap. With the lance not fitted, point the gun safely and squeeze its trigger until a uniform air-free stream appears.
- Install and lock the matching lance only after shutting water and releasing pressure, with electricity still disconnected. Restore water, connect to the correct voltage and start only when the assembled system is ready.
If the purge stream stays irregular, check supply flow, kinks and the inlet connection. Do not diagnose an air-filled system by immediately starting the pump. A connection that will not lock or leaks after correct depressurized reseating needs a confirmed part or service.
Adjust a fan, not a numerical pressure setting
The lance collar changes a broad fan toward a concentrated jet. Start with the broad appropriate pattern and test the material in an inconspicuous place. The manual explicitly prohibits adjusting the fan while the trigger is pressed. Release the trigger before turning the adjustment; keep fingers away from the outlet.
Moving closer increases the action on the surface. It does not create a reliable measured-PSI setting, and a narrow jet can damage paint, wood fibres or joints. Stop if the surface changes texture or the coating lifts. More concentration is not a remedy for unsuitable material.
For a small washable paving section, work with consistent movement and inspect the first strip. If dirt remains but the surface is intact, consider material-compatible detergent and the correct accessory rather than dwelling in one spot with a concentrated jet. This exact kit does not establish an included detergent applicator; verify the fine-interface accessory separately.
Stop Total is a pause function, not disconnection
The Rev.05 manual describes motor stop when the trigger is released, with bypass relieving the pump. It limits this pause arrangement to interruptions up to 15 minutes and directs a full shutdown for longer breaks. That is a ceiling in this manual, not a reason to leave the machine running or unattended until the clock expires.
For an attachment change, inspection or end of work, switch off, unplug, close water and discharge residual pressure. The manual’s shutdown sequence calls for holding the trigger 10 seconds after closing the tap; ensure trapped pressure is released before detaching fittings. Lock the trigger during a pause to avoid accidental operation.
Keep care external and model-specific
Clean the inlet filter after isolating the machine and removing the inlet fitting as instructed; do not operate without filtration. Drain and clean the hose, lance and accessible exterior, then store dry and protected from freezing. Check both pressure-hose ends before the next job.
Official accessory listings identify fine-bayonet and M14 conical-pin components for this family. That is not the Premier FS/M22-pin 15 arrangement. Do not force parts together because the WAP name matches. Persistent leaks, damaged cords, failed locks or unexplained repeated stopping require service; owner care does not include opening the pump or bypassing electrical protection.
