PBLDD01 parts differ by CN and VN rows

The 2022-01-12 Rev:03 sheet lists different motor/board and housing numbers. Use the full external identity with service; the diagram is not an internal-repair procedure.

Start on the tool, not the box

PSBDD02, PBLDD01 and PBLHM101 are tool models. PSBDD02K2 and PBLCK02K are package or combo identifiers. Searching only the carton number may produce instructions for several tools rather than a standalone drill manual.

First establish that the equipment is stable and safe to approach. If a battery smokes, leaks or remains abnormally hot, do not approach, touch or remove it to read a label; keep away and seek local emergency guidance. For normal equipment, release the trigger, wait for a complete stop and disconnect the battery before inspecting external labels. Do not open the housing to find a number.

Record the complete model, serial and marked manufacturing location, retaining extra letters. List battery and charger separately. Take a clear picture of the whole external label; do not post serial details publicly in unrelated discussions.

Identify the document by its back cover

These dates identify document revisions, not your tool’s manufacturing date.

Swipe or scroll horizontally to see all columns.

Tool or combo Back-cover number Date and revision What to check
PSBDD02 / PSBDD02SB30 999000220 2025-07-07, REV: 02 Cover includes the special-edition suffix
PBLDD01 998000372 2021-02-09, REV: 02 Standalone drill/driver instructions
PBLCK02K combo 998000632 2021-05-21, REV: 01 Separate PBLHM101 and PBLID02 sections

The filename fragments 220, 372 and 632 help navigation but do not replace the full back-cover number. A browser save date or filename ending 01/02 alone does not establish applicability. Ask manufacturer service if the actual label does not match the cover’s scope.

Locate PBLHM101 inside the combo manual

English printed page 5 puts two tools alongside each other: PBLHM101 is a 1/2-inch hammer drill, PBLID02 a 1/4-inch hex impact driver. The latter’s 2,900 rpm and holder are not drill specifications. Read the column heading first.

  1. On English printed page 5, use the PBLHM101 column for two-speed and impact-rate specifications.
  2. On printed page 6, locate auxiliary-handle assembly requirements.
  3. On printed pages 7–8, follow the PBLHM101 headings for chuck, gears and torque adjustment, not the other tool’s instructions.
  4. In the illustrations, confirm the PBLHM101 heading. Browser PDF page 30 is printed page 12: figure 1 shows the auxiliary handle, figures 5/6 contrast correct and incorrect bit seating.
  5. Use PBLID02’s own illustration page when working with that tool. Sharing a kit does not make procedures interchangeable.

Report both browser page sequence and printed page number when contacting support. These illustrations locate applicable instructions; they do not authorize internal disassembly.

Why CN and VN matter

The PBLDD01 parts sheet dated 2022-01-12, Rev: 03 separates several assemblies on page 3. Motor/circuit-board assemblies are 206089053 for CN and 206089054 for VN; housing assemblies are 204089006 and 204089008. Reporting only PBLDD01 is insufficient to identify some service components.

The PBLHM101 sheet dated 2022-01-05, Rev: 03 also splits rows: CN gearbox 206090004 versus VN 206090006. Similar appearance or a shared component number does not establish complete interchangeability between tools or manufacturing versions.

Use these examples to communicate with authorized service, not to replace boards or gearboxes yourself. An exploded diagram is not a complete dismantling, safety-test or reassembly procedure.

Prepare a useful service request

For example: “The external model is PBLDD01; the complete serial and manufacturing location are in the private label photo. I found operating manual 998000372 REV: 02 and the parts sheet dated 2022-01-12 Rev: 03. Please confirm applicability and whether the required work is user maintenance.”

Add the material, bit, gear, battery model, symptom and any drop or water exposure. If the label is unclear, send external photographs and purchase evidence for identification. Do not recreate binding, smoke or abnormal heating for a video. Correct identity and a precise symptom usually help more than guessing a component first.
