Trigger light versus independent worklight
Trigger activation has about 10 seconds of after-glow. DL6293B-00 and HD6294B-00 add a separate button with about 10 minutes of inactivity timeout; the button is disabled while running.

Compare shared features and actual differences
All three US brushless PWR CORE 20 drills have 1/2-inch keyless chucks and 17 numbered clutch settings. DL529301 and DL6293B-00 drill and drive; HD 6294B-00 also supplies axial hammer action. Separate tool identity from the package number.

The latter weight fields do not state battery conditions, so do not compare them directly with DL529301’s bare weight. High speed matches; 20 rpm low-speed difference is not working efficiency. Use clear matching-manual specifications rather than combine DL529301’s1,450 rpm promotional conflict or HD’s malformed impact-rate field into extra functions.
Furniture hardware: use existing equipment well
Reliable compatible BY519702 and QC536001 appear in all three tool manuals. For pilots, hinges and screws, compare grip, access and accessories before automatically buying similar batteries again.
DL529301 lights with a slight trigger squeeze and stays on about 10 seconds after release. That can assist alignment at a well-lit bench. Numbered clutch settings are relative, not calibrated torque. Stop, wait and remove the battery to fit the correct bit and choose rotary mode, gear and a low clutch setting. Keep fingers off the trigger, reinstall a compatible pack securely and confirm direction before trialling representative scrap; check seating and surface damage, then adjust safely as needed.
Cabinets: identify what DL6293B adds
Its independent WORKLIGHT button lights without rotating the bit and shuts off after about 10 inactive minutes; trigger activation has about 10 seconds after-glow. The button is disabled while running. It helps find hinge holes and align screws but does not replace independent task lighting.
The same catalogue gives DL6293B 154 mm and HD 166 mm, a useful 12 mm difference near a cabinet opening. Add bit, grip and battery clearance. “Shorter than the previous generation” does not establish the exact difference from DL529301.
Only handle stable equipment safe to approach. Do not approach, touch or remove a smoking, leaking or persistently abnormally hot battery; keep away and seek local emergency guidance. Normally release the trigger, wait, remove the pack and keep it removed for physical fitting, using pack dimensions below. Do not power into a gap.
Consider HD for actual masonry work
HD 6294B adds axial impacts, not higher published rotary speed or torque. For appropriate brick, block or concrete, match anchors, bits, diameter, depth and substrate, then resolve hidden services and dust. Do not replace an unspecified material capacity with the 13 mm chuck size.
Its hammer mode is not for wood, metal, ceramics or plastic. Before returning to screws, stop, wait and remove the battery, select rotary/clutch settings, then with fingers off trigger reinstall a compatible pack securely, check direction and trial scrap. Regular hard-concrete, large or deep holes may call for a suitable rotary hammer instead.

Choose the needed mode, confirm complete access, then total tool, batteries, charger and necessary accessories. Deduct only reliable usable equipment you own. Ask for actual labels, counts and contents rather than decide by a torque number, ambiguous weight or “new generation” label.
